Welcome to Quality Cut Meats

In 2006, Al Weyker (my dad) and I (Jennifer Hoeppner) purchased Quality Cut Meats. I grew up on a dairy farm the eldest of six children. I have always had a love for cooking, so after high school I went to culinary school. For fifteen years I worked in restaurants.  Then one day my Dad said “What do you think about buying a butcher shop?”  About a year later I started working at the shop and found it to be a perfect combination. Animals, Food, People.  My education now includes Master Meat Crafter (a program through UW-Madison).  I’m pleased to say I achieved an addition to my plant in 2014 with the plans of another addition in the near future.  I love my farmers, my customers, and my work. I call it “Feeding the world one family at a time.”  So please, buy local.  Farmers need to be appreciated for their hard work and dedication.  After all, we’d all be farmers if it was an easy job.
